Microsoft To Release Surface Pro 4 and Lumia 940 XL With Windows 10, QHD Screen Display

Microsoft will be releasing the Surface Pro 4 and Lumia 940 XL With Windows 10 in July. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features 12-inch screen display with 2K pixel resolution, Intel Skylake processor, stylus, and USB Type-C port. Similar to its predecessor the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, the Surface Pro 4 can be transformed into an ultra-portable laptop.

Microsoft Lumia 940 XL

The Lumia 940 XL will have a 5.7-inch QHD touchscreen display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution. It will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon processor with Qualcomm Adreno 430 GPU. It will be equipped with a 2GB RAM (1.5GB usable) and 16GB of internal memory (14GB usable).

The specs for Lumia 940 XL was posted  on a benchmark site with the model name RM-1100.

The phone will include a 17-megapixel main camera, which can also record 4K resolution videos, and a 4.8-megapixel front-facing camera which can record full-HD resolution videos. Sensors including accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, light, and proximity are also listed, apart from NFC connectivity.

Sony's super thin Android-powered 4K TV Sony Bravia X900C price at $3,999

The Sony Super Thin TV called "Sony Bravia X900C" was first seen last January 2015 at the CES convention. It is a really thin just 4.9mm thick and it is slimmer than its own Xperia flagship smartphone. The TV is huge at 65 inches.

These new models are powered by the new 4K Processor X1 which handles various 4K compression formats and up-scales lower resolution content to 4K resolution. This comprehensive image enhancement processor will take the viewers to a whole new level in terms of the three important elements "clarity, colour, and contrast."

The Japanese company has announced the price for their new TV models, here are the prices:

The three TVs will be launched in July.

Sony Finally Admits that Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 Has Overheating Issues, Software Fix On the Way

Sony admitted that Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z4 suffers from overheating due to Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip. The company admitted the issue after it was detected in tests run by GSMinfo in the Netherlands. The test found that the camera app crashed after they recorded a video and they felt the heat at the back of the device.

Sony said that for the meantime the temporary fix is turning the phone off several times a day, and when you are charging the device and a software fix is coming this summer. They also advice owners of Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 to contact the Sony service center. Sony's recently launched Xperia Z3+ (Xperia Z4 in Japan).

Users also complain that the phone turns hot when you use the video for long periods or while playing graphics-heavy games and movies.

The Xperia is not the first smartphone to report about problems with the Snapdragon 810 chip. There were rumors earlier this year that Samsung ditched Qualcomm and used its own microprocessors in the Galaxy S6 due to overheating problems.

LG in April decided to go with Qualcomm's hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip instead of the 810 for the LG G4, leading many to speculate that this was down to overheating.

Huawei P8 smartphone

Huawei flagship smartphone the P8 boast the thinnest smartphone on the market today at 6.4 mm it also has the largest screen-to-body ratio at 78.3%, and the best battery with 2680 mAh battery and a power consumption firewall that prolongs the battery life by 20%.

The horse power of the P8 is Kirin 930 Octa-Core 64-bit chipset. The screen's resolution is VHD 1080 x 1920 pixels 5.2 inches. It runs on Lollipop OS. This smartphone targets people who loves to be connected wit their connectivity features like Signal+, Roaming+ and WiFi+.

Huawei also said that the P8's dual antenna gives strong network signal. They also said that they have increased the volume by 50% and reduce wind-noise by 90% for a better voice call experience for the user.

Another great feature of the Huawei P8 is its camera that lets you capture great pictures with amazing quality. It has an Optical Image Stabilizer technology that reduce shake and gives you clear and consistently sharp images. It is also equipped with 4 color RGBW sensor that  enhances brightness by 32%.

The camera has Light Painting mode that let users to capture light in motion. For the video, the phone has Director's Cut function, that let you connect up to 4 P8 smartphones to shoot a video from multiple angles.

As for the storage space you can choose between 16Gb and 64Gb variants. They also have a low-end edition the P8 Lite ($250 contract-free).
