Microsoft is looking into the leaked out copies of the upcoming blockbuster console title Halo 4 for the Xbox 360. It will be officially release later in the year.

First it was the images that surfaced last week on Reddit and then followed by gameplay videos of the game.

What is more troubling for Microsoft is a full retail copy of the game has also been seen on torrent sites. Leaks appear on Reddit and NeoGAF.

Microsoft issued a statement on examiner.com “We have seen the reports of Halo 4 content being propped on the Web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation."
