Acer Unveiled Liquid-Cooled 2-In-1 Laptop Switch Alpha 12

Acer, a Taiwan-based multinational computer company has unveiled the world's first liquid-cooled 2-in-1 laptop called "Switch Alpha 12". It runs on Windows 10 and has no fans since it uses the Acer's LiquidLoop cooling technology, which was only previously seen in high-end gaming desktop CPUs. It is powered by 6th generation Intel Core processors in the market.

On their press release, the company said that the "Switch Alpha 12" is the first and only fanless 2-in-1 notebook powered by 6th generation Intel Core processors in the market today. The device is also capable of delivering outstanding performance and an 8 hours battery life.

Acer's Switch Alpha 12 2-In-1 Laptop has an impressive specs like support for Intel's Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. It is equipped with a 12-inch 2,160 x 1,440 resolution display. Connectivity includes ports for HDMI, USB Type-C, USB 3.0, USB A and DisplayPort connections. It has 8 GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

The Switch Alpha 12 weighs in 2.76 pounds with a keyboard, and 1.98 pounds as a standalone tablet.

The Switch Alpha 12 is quite affordable just like most of the notebooks Acer debuted. The base model starts at $599, which is cheaper than its $999 Switch 12S. The device should become available in June.

HTC Vive Virtual Reality goggles

HTC Vive is a virtual reality goggles manufactured by Taiwanese tech company HTC it is co-developed by gaming giant Valve. The HTC Vive is the most expensive and heavy on feature among the VR devices that will come out in 2016. The device let the user physically move around its virtual world while using a pair of high-tech controllers to grab and manipulate digital objects.

The goggles is quite heavy and not comfortable to wear it can get your skin covered by the headset sweaty. But once you play the game, you'll forget all about it. It's a real game-changer.  HTC Vive is really fun to play with, it's like playing your first Sony PlayStation.

Why take my word for it when you can try it yourself for free. HTC is rolling out retail demo stations where you can put the SteamVR-powered Vive through its paces. And if the demo convinces you to lay down at least $800 on a piece of the future, those retail location will also be taking pre-orders for delivery starting in June.

Vive demo stations are only available at 3 Microsoft Stores in New York City, Bellevue, and Salt Lake City. Microsoft is planning to expand the program to 11 more stores in the US (and one in Sydney, Australia) by the end of the month and up to 30 locations by the end of the year. You should be 18 years old to take part in the demos, according to Microsoft's website.  GameStop, meanwhile, will start demonstrating the Vive at 10 locations across the US starting April 18.

Considering the powerful specs the Xiaomi Mi 5 is unbeatable, it is equipped with Snapdragon 820 for just a $305 smartphone. However the software is not that spectacular but for the price, it's a steal. Xiaomi pride itself with giving very good specs at low prices. Usually the Redmi line is Xiaomi's lower end smartphones while the "Mi" series is for higher end phones. However, the the Redmi Note 3 has transcend that notion. The Redmi Note 3 look, feels and performs like a premium device. The great thing about it, you'll not be paying for a premium device. For the price the features of this phone is just awesome. It has infrared emitter, call recording, and a lot of software interface that's included.

The power-horse is Snapdragon 650 processor hexa core SoC, just imagine the performance it can give you. Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset is really impressive, performance is comparable to Qualcomm’s last generation hex-core Snapdragon 808.

It can record UHD 4K videos with a third-party app. The display is 5.5inch fullHD IPS LCD with pixel density of 401ppi. The pictures look natural and it has a good viewing angles.

LG Unveiled Stylus 2 smartphone Runs on Android Marshmallow

South Korean electronics company LG unveiled their new smartphone Stylus 2 ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 that will take place in Barcelona, Spain next week. The LG Stylus 2 will replace the G4 Stylus and it will be released in the Korean market in titan, white and brown color options.

The new smartphone LG Stylus 2 features a 5.7-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor paired wtih 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB ROM that can be expanded using a microSD card. It sports a 13MP camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling. The power juice is 3,000 mAh battery. Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and an optional NFC.

The unit comes with a Stylus pen with nano-coated tip that the company said is more accuate compared to rubber tipped pen. The Pen Pop feature shows a pop-up menu when the stylus is removed to provide Pop Memo and Pop Scanner. There is also a Pen Keeper where you can put your pen when not using it. You will get a pop-up message if the Stylus bay is empty.

The new model weighs 145 grams, 20 grams less than the G4 Stylus, and is only 7.4 millimeters thick.
