Dell unveiled their latest Inspiron laptops at Computex in Taiwan, they have included a 17-inch laptop in their Inspiron 7000 line. Dell claims that it is the world's first 2-in-1 laptop at 17-inch size.
They've also updated their 11, 13, and 15 inches Inspiron 2-in-1 models, as well as its 15-inch and 17-inch Inspiron 5000 conventional notebooks.
The latest 2-in-1 laptops will be available beginning June 2 on Dell's website, with the Inspiron 5000 notebooks going on sale later this year.
The 2-in-1 laptop design let their user rotate the screens to 360 degrees to turn them into tablet. Other laptop makers limit the size to 11 and 13 inches since 17-inch models are heavey and not very mobile. But Dell believes otherwise, their Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 will prove that laptop with bigger screens can transformed to a tablet too.
The Inspiron 7000 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch is equipped with Full HD resolution screen and an infrared camera that allows users to log in to Windows through the Hello feature just by glancing at the camera.
It will be powered by 6th generation Intel Core processorss, NVIDIA's GeForce 940M graphics chip and it has a backlit keyboard.
It has USB Type-C, which you can use an optional adapter that can be connected to devices through HDMI, Ethernet, and USB 3.0. The USB Type-C port can also be connected to a external battery pack to add usage hours.
The Inspiron 5000 2-in-1 series has almost the same features as the Inspiron 7000, however they are only available in 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes. The casing for this device are made of plain plastic. Price for the Inspiron 5000 2-in-1 starts at $529, while the Inspiron 7000 has a $749 starting price.
There's also a new 11-inch Inspiron 3000 2-in-1 convertible laptop that starts at a very affordable price of $249. It is aimed at children and budget-conscious shoppers. It is equipped with an Intel Pentium chip, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage space and a 1,366 x 768 touchscreen. It has one USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 connections, an HDMI socket and a microSD slot. It will be available June 2nd, initially in red and blue, followed by gray and white at a later date.
